It’s all change for ASA Fabs! After years in the metal fabrication industry and setting up on their own in 2011, Andre, Steve, Andy and the rest of the team are moving onto bigger and better things. New premises, a new website and ISO 9001 certification all mean that ASA Fabs is better placed than ever to provide quality precision metal fabrication services to customers in the Midlands and beyond.
New Premises
From the proceeds of an initial project and an investment of £3 to set up a business account, ASA Fabs was born. Father and sons team Andre, Steve and Andy found their own small workshop, stocked it with second-hand fabrication equipment and began earning a trusted reputation in the manufacturing industry that continues today. As their customer base, staff numbers and investment in machinery grew, they realised that their premises needed to grow to match.
So, in 2022, ASA Fabs Ltd moved from three 1100 sq. ft units on Fenton Industrial Estate to a new, modern 7500 sq. ft premises in Parkhall Business Village, Longton. More than doubling in size, the new home of ASA now houses the £1.2 million Amada Ensis 3015 RI fibre tube laser machine, two Amada CNC press brakes, welding stations, drilling and tapping machines, tube rollers and more, plus metal stocks for repeat and upcoming projects.
New Certification
ASA’s services have earned a strong reputation with customers and other fabricators, for quality metals parts, fast turnaround times and flexibility. In October 2022, the company was awarded ISO 9001 accreditation for quality standards, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to producing quality components with a process approach and strong customer focus.
Each year, auditors will evaluate ASA Fabs’ objectives and initiatives to confirm that they meet customer requirements and exceed customer expectations. Employing this internationally recognised standard increases quality, consistency, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
